David Benedict first appeared onstage as "Mister M" in a first grade production that featured the "alphabet people". He didn't formally grace the stage again until 11 years later when he played a few small roles in high school, including the part of Basil in "The Diviners". Other semi-memorable roles include Jacob in "Joseph and the Amazing Techicolor Dreamcoat" and the 'Main Brain' Vince Fontaine in "Grease" as a part of the Clayton Alliance for Summer Theater, and Aristotle in "Fahrenheit 451" at DramaTech. Then, after another brief 3 or 4 year hiatus he joined the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company, and the rest is history. He frequently appears as the voice of the Crimson Hawk or Rory Rammer (unless someone else is doing them *grin*), and has also portrayed Jeff Hardesty in Robert Heinlein's "The Menace From Earth" and the Monster in Thomas Fuller's "The Passion of Frankenstein". David would like to say 'hi' to his cat, Pixie, but, since she's probably not reading this, he won't.
