There is more of Daniel at Dreaded Purple Master.

Daniel Taylor

Daniel has been senior Foley artist since 1988, creating and performing live sound effects for ARTC's stage and tape productions, beginning with Dragon*Con 2 ("The Dunwich Horror", in which he likes to say he played the title role).

This whetted his appetite to write. In addition to creating and writing the popular series "Bumpers Crossroads", he currently concentrates on adapting stories not originally intended for audio, such as Robert A Heinlein's "Solution Unsatisfactory," Henry Lee Forrest's "Special Order" and Robert Louis Stevenson's "Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde". He has also worked with Thomas E. Fuller to create audio versions of Mr. Fuller's stage plays "Throne of Shadows" and "An Atlanta Christmas".

He has also provided voices for strange creatures such as aliens, elves and moonshiners. Lately he has begun to graduate to featured parts, which surprises him no end. He read the title role in "The Man Who Traveled in Elephants."

He is also the author of this web site, and feels a little funny talking about himself in the third person. He continues to be dazzled by the calibre of people with whom he associates through ARTC.
