The classic story from the father of science fiction!  Painting a picture of the majesty of the sea, the wonder of discovery, and the power of revenge, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is perhaps Jules Verne’s most well-known and popular work.  Come join ARTC as we bring you the underwater realm as only we can, in the form of a live radio play!

Come hear Holmes in an entirely new light -- through the magnifying lens of the mind's ear, where things might become a little distorted.

First, we'll have another episode of "Dr. Will Ward, Science Wizard: Sherlock Gnomes" by Dave Schroeder, and then we'll do our own take on one of the most famous duos in history with "Dr. Geoffry Stanhope, Investigator of Occult Phenomena: The Maker of Dreams" by Thomas E. Fuller.

And in between, a little from Mr. Doyle himself.

"Lone Star Planet" by H. Beam Piper, adapted by Ron N. Butler

When Stephen Silk is sent to the planet of New Texas, he thinks he's being sent to do three small things: Take over for the recently assassinated ambassador from the Solar League (and find out who did it while he's there), convince the fiercely independent world to join the Solar League, and head off a potential alien invasion.  When he arrives, however, he quickly finds himself in the midst of a culture that guards its freedoms jealously, which puts a bit of a twist on the investigation.  Can Silk stand before the Court of Political Justice and convince the tribunal that the victim being a politician isn't an acceptable defense against murder?  Can he unmask the killers and reveal the conspiracy that motivated them?  And just how insulting is it that the new ambassador is packing heat?

After a triumphant debut at Dragon Con 2013, The War of the Worlds: The Untold Story ushers in the season of Halloween with its tale of Martian invasion and the truth about how the extermination of humanity was averted.

Along with other Martian-themed short subjects, including the fan-favorite Rory Rammer, Space Marshal, this will be a spectacular celebration of the 75th anniversary of the famous (or infamous!) Orson Welles and the Mercury Theatre of the Air broadcast of The War of the Worlds. Don't miss this tribute to two giants of literature and audio drama!
